404 Washington Avenue

Taylor & Mathis developed this mixed-use project on a fee basis for The Portofino Group in 1995.  The seven-story, 58,700 SF building encompasses street-level retail and restaurant space, three levels of parking above that and then four floors of office space.  The distinctive art deco architecture (punctuated by a cylindrical light tower constructed of glass bricks) has made 404 Washington Avenue a landmark in Miami’s trendy South Beach area.
