Kennessaw: TownPark Ravine I Receives Energy Star Rating - Ravine I now ranks in the top 25% in energy efficiency among similar, existing buildings in the country. This is not only good news for the environment, but for tenants as well. The prestigious ranking includes meeting such standards as: temperature comfort as set forth by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers(ASHRAE) acceptable indoor air quality (ASHRAE); and appropriate lighting levels as determined by the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America. An ENERGY STAR qualified facility meets strict energy performance standards set by the EPA, uses less energy and causes fewer greenhouse gas emissions than its peers.
