Ricoh Electronics, Inc. has signed a 10-year lease to occupy 100% of Satellite Logistics Center – Building 100 (“SLC 100”), a 264,550 SF bulk distribution building recently completed by Taylor & Mathis in the city of Buford, Gwinnett County, GA. The rear-load building, which is located one-half mile from I-985, features architectural tilt-wall construction, 32’ clear height, a 180’ deep truck court with 68 trailer parking spaces, ESFR sprinkler system and LED warehouse lighting.
The building will serve as a distribution center and light production facility which supports Ricoh’s manufacturing plant in nearby Lawrenceville. The manufacturing facility utilizes Ricoh’s thermal paper process to produce bar codes for food products, medical supplies, airline luggage and more, and the finished paper products will be shipped from SLC 100 nationwide.
