Leadership

The experience and stability of the T&M management team are among our company’s greatest strengths. Our six senior officers have been with the company for an average of more than 24 years, which is truly extraordinary for a firm in our industry. This seasoned management team has worked together through various cycles of the commercial real estate market and developed long-term relationships with tenants, real estate owners, lenders, contractors, consultants, suppliers and other professionals throughout the industry.

Andrew Taylor - President

Andrew joined T&M in 1983 and has served as President of the company since 1995. Prior to assuming his current position, he served as Senior Vice President responsible for marketing and development of the company's TownPark project in Atlanta and overseeing the company's operations in Alabama. From 1989 to 1993, Andrew resided in Birmingham where he served as Vice President responsible for development, marketing and property management at the company's projects in Alabama.

Andrew is from Opelika, Alabama. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington & Lee University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Hamilton Reynolds - President, Industrial Division

Hamilton Reynolds rejoined T&M in 1996 as President of the Industrial Division and since that time has overseen the development of industrial projects in Atlanta totaling over 3.6 million square feet.  Prior to rejoining T&M he was a Partner and Chief Financial Officer for McDonald Development Company in Atlanta. Hamilton began his real estate career at T&M in 1985 where he was the project manager in the acquisition and development of over $20 million of master planned industrial parks.

Hamilton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from the University of the South, Sewanee, Tennessee and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Emory University.

Hank Brenner - President, Taylor & Mathis of Florida, LLC

Hank joined T&M in 2003 as President of Taylor & Mathis of Florida, LLC. In this capacity, Hank is responsible for supervising all of T&M’s property management and leasing activities throughout Florida. Hank began his career in 1979 with InterFirst Bank (Bank of America, Texas), where he became Vice President in charge of the National Real Estate Lending Group. He left the bank to join Paragon Group, one of Florida’s most successful real estate developers during the1980’s, and then, in 1991, co-founded Florida Real Estate Advisors (FREA), a company specializing in providing property management and leasing services to third-party real estate owners in Florida.  In 1998, FREA was acquired by St. Joe Company to become Advantis, where Hank served as Managing Director of Florida prior to joining T&M.

Hank graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Frank Dolbow - Chief Financial Officer

Frank joined T&M in 1988 and, since 1995, has served as Chief Financial Officer responsible for the company's accounting, financial, tax, information systems and human resources matters. Prior to joining the company, Frank served as Treasury Analyst for Scientific-Atlanta, Inc. He began his career as a Staff Accountant with Deloitte Haskins & Sells and Frank received his CPA certificate in 1985.

Frank is from Salem, New Jersey. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Auburn University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from the Colgate Darden Graduate School of Virginia.

Carroll M. Battey - Senior Vice President, Operations

Carroll joined T&M in 1979 and currently serves as Senior Vice President - Operations responsible for overseeing operations and property management at the company's various office projects in Atlanta. Prior to her current position, Carroll was General Manager of Perimeter Center, a 3.5 million-square-foot office park and mixed-use project developed by T&M and MetLife. Prior to joining T&M she worked as a legal assistant for Federal National Mortgage Association.

Carroll is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  She holds a Bachelor  of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Emory.

Kerry O'Brien - Senior Vice President, Marketing

Kerry joined T&M in 1985 and is currently Senior Vice President - Marketing responsible for overseeing office leasing and other marketing activities for all of the company's projects in Atlanta. From 1985 to 1993, Kerry served as Vice President - Marketing in charge of Perimeter Center leasing in Atlanta. Prior to joining Taylor & Mathis, Kerry was Vice President/ Correspondent Banking in the Corporate Banking Division at Trust Company Bank of Georgia.

Kerry is from Louisville, Kentucky. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Town Center Area Community Improvement District in Cobb County.

Annette Arnold - Controller

Annette has been with T&M since 1999 and oversees an accounting department of approximately 20 employees who provide exceptional accounting and reporting services to T&M’s property-owning entities and third-party clients.  Prior to joinng to T&M she was Assistant Controller at MacMillan Bloedel Building Materials (now Weyerhauser) for two years. Annette also worked for five years at MetLife Real Estate Investments producing financial statements for pension funds, joint ventures and wholly-owned properties. She is a member of the Georgia Society of CPA’s and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Annette holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from Georgia State University and Executive Master of Business Administration degree from Kennesaw State University.

Mike Irby - Vice President, Development

Mike began work at T&M in 1993 and since 2007 has served as Vice President - Development responsible for overseeing all of the company's development and project management activities, including site development, base building construction and interiors construction.  Mike began his career with T&M as a Property Manager at Perimeter Center and then Buckhead Plaza, and later moved into construction management overseeing tenant build-outs at Perimeter Center.  Beginning in 1998 he was promoted to Project Manager in T&M's development department where he spent five years managing both new development projects and interiors construction.  From 2003 through 2007, Mike did a stint as Director of Leasing for T&M's Industrial Division.

Mike is originally from Atlanta and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.

Brian Gale - Principal, Marketing (South Florida)

Brian is T&M's senior leasing representative and broker in Florida. Over the last three years, Brian has overseen the signing of deals totaling over 925,000 square feet with a value of over $160 million. He has done three of the eight largest office leases ever in Miami's Brickell/Downtown submarket totaling almost 300,000 square feet (Holland & Knight – 108,000 square feet, Bank of America – 88,000 square feet and Stearns Weaver – 84,000 square feet). In 2002 and 2007, Brian was named "Broker of the Year" by BOMA Greater Miami. From 2004-2009, Brian was listed as the Number 1 "Power Broker" for South Florida by CoStar based upon the number of signed leases and total square footage leased. From 1993 to 1999, Brian was a broker in the Miami office of CB Richard Ellis.

Brian is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Marlene Diaz - Director of Operations (South Florida)

Marlene joined T&M in 1997 and currently oversees the operations and property management services of the company's South Florida Division.  Marlene has over 25 years of experience in commerical, industrial and residential property management and has been an active member of BOMA Miami-Dade since 1994 serving on the board from 1996 - 2009 and as its President from 2007 - 2009.  Prior to joining T&M Marlene was a Senior Property Manager for the Prudential Real-Estate Group.

Marlene graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. She obtained her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from BOMA in 1995 and she is a licensed real-estate salesperson in the state of Florida.

Kent Walling - Director of Operations (Tampa)

Kent joined T&M in 1996 as an Assistant Property Manager at the Perimeter Center office park in Atlanta, Georgia.  In 1997, he was promoted to Property Manager for Buckhead Plaza, a 450,000-square-foot office and retail project in Atlanta.  In 2000 Kent relocated to T&M's Tampa office to serve as the Property Manager for a 1.5 million-square-foot office and industrial portfolio owned by MetLife.  In 2003, Kent was promoted to Director of Operations for Central Florida. 

Kent is from Houston, Texas and graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Finance.  He is member of the Westshore Alliance, USGBC Florida Gulf Coast Chapter and BOMA where he currently serves as President for the Southern Region.

John O'Neil - Managing Director, Leasing (South Florida)

John is a Miami native who joined T&M in 1999 and is responsible for overseeing office leasing for various private and institutional owners in the Miami/Dade County area. Prior to joining T&M, John worked for 11 years in the Miami office of CB Richard Ellis. From 1983 to 1985, John was a marketing representative for Advantage Personnel, and prior to that was a sales representative for Savin Corporation. 

John holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Fordham University.

Donna Korn - Director of Leasing

Donna joined T&M to serve as the Director of Leasing with her primary focus on landlord representation in Miami/Dade, Broward County and Palm Beach County. In addition to her extensive experience in landlord representation, she also brings expertise in business development, tenant representation and investment sales. Having exclusively represented over 1.7 million square feet of office space in the Tri-County Area, Donna has developed long-standing relationships within the commercial brokerage communities as well as with investors throughout South Florida.

Angela Odell - Managing Director of Leasing

Angela joined T&M in 2005 as Managing Director of Leasing for Tampa Bay. She has over 20 years experience in office landlord representation. Concentrating in both Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties, Angela’s portfolio exceeds 2M square feet during her tenure at T&M. Currently she is actively representing landlords in the Westshore, Carrollwood and Pinellas markets. Angela is responsible for supervising all commercial leasing activities in Tampa Bay.

Angela’s twenty years leasing experience in Tampa Bay has allowed her to develop long standing relationships with the brokerage community in the Tampa Bay area.

Angela graduated from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. She holds an active Florida Real Estate License and is a member of NAIOP and Commercial Real Estate Women of Tampa Bay.
