Core Values
Real estate companies are often judged by the most visible elements of the business – their projects. At Taylor & Mathis, we measure a project's success in many ways: It functions well for the people who work in it; it is a financial success for its owners/investors; it receives community acceptance or industry recognition; its appearance pleases people. By these benchmarks we've developed many successful projects, and we take great pride in them. Our projects are not, however, the yardstick for measuring our success.
The true measures of Taylor & Mathis' success are the business philosophy, the relationships and the people we have developed. We believe that the keys to good business are integrity, dependability and customer service. We expect our people to respond quickly and professionally to tenant and client needs. We expect them to meet their commitments to tenants and clients, and exhort them to deliver more than they promise.
These principles are a way of life at Taylor & Mathis and have come to embody our corporate culture. They are why tenants who choose to stay and grow with us account for more than 60% of our project expansion. They are why we enjoy long-term relationships with institutional owners. They are why our clients are our best references.
